The 2 shot also means 2 shot on the trunk lid button where the new cars you have instant trunk lid button with press and hold trunk remote buttons. I replaced relay and switch same time and both are temperamental at times.

Chevy has a fix which involves changing out the sensor and replacing with a sensor that requires 2 pushes on the remote to open trunk. Problem solved. Talk to dealer. BTW a friend's trunk opened while driving, so it's not necessarily a pocket or purse push that opens the trunk. Like.

I have no personal experience with this relay, I know it exists but don't recall ever using one.
